Agent Management

After creating your AI agents, the Agent Management section allows you to view, edit, test, and publish all agents in one place. Managing these details carefully helps ensure that your agents are discoverable, understandable, and ready for marketplace approval.


Accessing Agent Management

  1. Click “Agent” in the sidebar.

  2. You will see a list of your created agents with the following information:

    • Agent Name

    • Creation Method (Prompt / Workflow / Third-Party API / Framework)

    • Status (Draft / Under Review / Published)

    • Last Modified Time


Required Agent Fields

Before submitting for review, ensure that your agent has the following fields properly filled out:

  1. Avatar / Icon

    • Represents your agent visually in the marketplace and chat terminal.

    • Recommendation: Use a clear, simple image that reflects the agent’s purpose.

  2. Agent Name

    • The official name displayed to users.

    • Recommendation: Keep it short, unique, and easy to remember.

    • Example: Smart Travel Planner

  3. Category

    • Helps users discover your agent by function or industry.

    • Examples: Productivity, Finance, Travel, Entertainment

  4. Short Description (One Sentence)

    • A concise summary of what the agent does.

    • Recommendation: Limit to 1–2 lines and highlight the core function.

    • Example: Generate personalized travel itineraries in seconds.

  5. Full Description

    • A detailed explanation of the agent’s purpose, features, and usage.

    • Recommendation: Focus on benefits, typical use cases, and special features.

  6. Intent

    • A short keyword or sentence that defines the agent’s primary role or purpose.

    • Helps the system and users understand how and when the agent should respond.

    • Example: Plan trips based on user preferences and suggest destinations.

Editing Agents

You can edit your agent’s configuration and required fields at any time before it is published:

  • Prompt Agents – Modify prompt instructions, descriptions, avatar, and linked knowledge base.

  • Workflow Agents – Open the workflow editor to update logic and maintain clear documentation in the description fields.

  • Third-Party API Agents – Ensure the full description explains what external data the agent uses.

  • Agent Framework Agents – Include clear intents and descriptions to guide users, even for code-heavy agents.


Testing Agents

All agent types can be tested in the Preview panel on their creation page:

  1. Open the agent’s creation page.

  2. Enter sample inputs in the Preview panel.

  3. Verify the outputs and check for logical or language issues.


Publishing Agents

To release your agent to the public:

  1. Complete all required fields (avatar, name, category, descriptions, intent).

  2. Click “Publish” from the management page.

  3. Your agent will undergo quality and security review.

  4. Once approved, it will be available in ChainOpera AI Terminal

Deleting Agents

  1. Click the trash icon on the agent’s row.

  2. Confirm the deletion in the pop-up dialog.


Best Practices

  • Always fill all required fields to improve visibility and approval speed.

  • Use clear and user-focused descriptions for better marketplace engagement.

  • Test thoroughly in Preview before publishing.

  • Update your full description if the agent’s features or workflow change.
